My opponent hit the checker here. Even though score aruges for safe play , hitting is right. Problem with non-hitting play is that you can still lose gammon with two blots against four point board. So hitting is the right play, but he hits me wrongly. The best play is hit and run. You should remain double slotted on 23 and 20 point so that you can re-create it in case you have got return hit.
